Personification

A figure of speech witch gives the qualities of a person to a animal, and object, or an idea. It is a comparison witch the author uses to show something in an entirely new light, to communicate a certain felling or attitude towards it and control the way a reader perceives it.

Examples:The stars danced playfully in the moonlit sky.

Opportunity was knocking at her door.
