Life
Legends say that she was the daughter of patrician Roman Christians, who gave her in marriage to a young nobleman named Valerian of Trastevere, despite her desire te remain a virgin. After the wedding, she told her husband that she was going to remain a virgin and that an angel came to her and warned her of losing her virginity. Her husband wouldn't believe her until she showed him the Angel. Cecilia told him that in order to see the Angel he must get baptized, so he did.
St. Cecilia spent her time preaching and in her lifetime she was able to convert over four hundred people. She did not actually perform any miracles, because the criteria for a saint was different back then.
