The dominant allele plus the dominant allele equals the dominant phenotype. The recessive allele plus the recessive allele equals the recessive phenotype. The dominant allele plus the recessive allele equals the dominant phenotype. It all depends on the allele and the phenotype to make you look like yourself. Dominant phenotypes are not always more common then recessive phenotypes. There are so many genetic combinations just out of ten people. Imagine how many combinations there are out of one hundred people.
