Spruce Needle

The spruce tree is a coniferous tree and belongs to the family of pines. There are 35 species of spruce trees still existing in the northern hemisphere. Spruce needles are shed every 4-10 years, and are spirally arranged on the spruce tree branch. In the slide, epidermal cells, cell walls, and water bubbles are visible.
