Social Interaction in Swimming

In swimming, you are always meeting new people. Whether it's when you are joining a new team or talking to someone at a swim meet. Swimming is a very individual sport, but it is also a team sport. You work with people when you swim relays, or even when you swim with them in a lane at practice. It teaches you how to work with all different types of people, it teaches you good sportsmanship, and winning and losing as a team.
