ISTE Standards for Students #1.3 “Use models and simulations to explore complex systems and issues.”

STANDARD

PURPOSE

Given a worksheet assignment, students will use a simulation to explore complex systems with a proficiency of 40, as measured by a teacher-created rubric.

This activity uses simulated tiles and programmed rules to offer and assess problem sets and guide students to understand polynomial functions visually in a way that I wouldn’t be able to in a classroom without an online tool.
