Early life

Her full name is Ruby Nell Bridges who was born on the 8 Of September 1954 in Tylertown Mississipi.

She was raised on a farm by her parents and grandparent. When she was round about 4 her family moved to New Orleans for a better life.

She was sent to a school called Franz Elementery School for whites.

As you know she was the first African America to join the school.
