Red Square

Red Square, which separates residence of Putin, the Kremlin, from the historic part of Moscow. The Red Square also is the origin of many of Moscows main roads. The word Kremlin comes from the word Krasnaya, which used to mean "beautiful" in Russian, now means red. This is where the name "Red Square" comes from. The Red Square used to be a shabby village full of huts, but blossomed when the Soviet Union started performing military parades there, to show the might of the Soviet Union.
