Complex Sentences
Complex senteces are made up of an independent clause followed by a subordinate clause. In a complex sentence, you must use a subordinate conjunction in order to link the two sentences together. For example:
Here is a list of subordinate conjunctions.
1.) Although a zombie apocalypse is unlikely, we should be prepared for anything.
2.) Since zombies are rabid creatures, they rely on brains to suffice their needs.
3.) I could have sworn I saw a a man eating a brain, unless I was imagining things.
