Clarence Frank Birdseye II was an American inventor, entrepreneur, and naturalist, and is considered to be the founder of the modern frozen food industry. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 9, 1886. He is the 6th of 9 children. He dropped out of college due to financial difficulties and began his career as a taxidermist. He later founded frozen foods.
