Herbals are used in large quantities because they can cause euphoric or hallucinogenic effects. But, they can also cause severe muscle spasms, high blood pressure, strokes, and heart attacks.

Chugging cough syrup can cause an instant high, but it can also cause hypothermia, high fever, dizziness, vomiting & abdominal pain, numbness, seizures, brain damage, and death.
