As this is happening Elsa is walking alone through the snowy mountains. It is here that she accepts who she is and that she will just have to live her life in solitude. She creates her amazing ice castle as well as completes a song about "letting it go."
Anna and the others eventually find Elsa is this castle but she refuses to return to Arendelle with them. Another argument ensues and Anna is hit with Elsa's ice blast.the group is then thrown out of the castle by a giant snowman. Once out Anna begins to feel cold and weak. Christoph rushes her to his family, who are in fact trolls. The eldest and wisest of the trolls tells Christoph that Anna must have an act of true love to melt her frozen heart. At this point, Christoph has feelings for Anna but knows she love Hans, so he takes her back to Arendelle and leaves her with Hans. Little did they know, or anyone for that matter, that Hans was just after the crown. He locks Anna in a room, leaving her to die, he declares that before her death the two had time to exchange wedding vows. This would make him the new ruler of Arendelle. Back in the locked room Anna struggles to hold onto life, just as she thinks no one is coming to help her, Olaf arrives. He starts a fire, despite being a snowman and the threat of melting. Anna then goes out to find Hans, who is now set on killing Elsa. Anna ends up saving Elsa, but it is too late to save herself. Anna is covered in ice. However, in saving her sister, she did an act of true love and is soon thawed.
