3. What BHS school rules do you agree or disagree with? Why? How would you change them?

A rule that I do agree with is our non-restricting dress code. Yes, mostly girls tend to bring it to the extreme but at the same time there are a lot of kids who express

themselves through their clothing. Like me. And restricting kids from having this self-expression and freedom would cause more of a dressing problem. They may have forgotten their decency at home but at least they wore enough clothes to cover the important parts that we do not need to see.

4. What role should teachers play – educators and/or role models?

Teachers should play both. I mean, they are there to teach and to educate us, but at the same time they are people who know your likes and dislikes, know what you are good at and how you operate. So they do have the power to influence us at the same time as the teach us. Not all my teachers always rabble on about school and school work.

5. What have been your favorite memories of school? Worst Memories?

My favorite memories would be freshman lunch where me and Michaela took probably hundreds of selfies, the day me and Camina became best friends and every other moment that can’t came to mind as I’m writing this right now. My Worst memories would be Dr. Gould pretty making cry after finishing a huge project on my own and getting four days of no sleep, having my hair pulled out freshman year, and Geometry with Mr. Kahn and Spanish with Ms. Myers.

6. What are two concerns you have about the school environment at BHS?

Two concerns I have about BHS is how much people smoke weed in the bathroom because it smells nasty and the lunch food because sometimes the bread is hard or the meat is dried and that’s just as gross.
