Great Britain's propaganda poster of the titled "Britain Shall Not Burn" year emphasizes how Britain was under a huge attack during World War II and needed to be ready for bomb strikes from Hitler. Great Britain even knew there was nothing they could do to stop these bomb strikes they believed that the best way to combat it is to prepare the people and convince them of the serious threat. In the picture we can see a fiery bomb with the Nazi symbol on it as well as a mouth, arms , and fiery hands and body as the bomb falls towards Britain. This image was intended to scare the English people and make them aware of the damage that could be done. Also it was to make them aware of Britain's fireguard which in the situation where a bomb was dropped they are deployed to put out the fires most of the damage that came from the bombs were not due to the explosions but due to the fires that would spread after the explosion. This brought awareness to the fireguard and also cause people to join it. One strategy used in this poster was a rhetorical device known as personification which was used by giving the bomb humanlike features like eyes mouth hands to make it appear more scary. Another strategy used was pathos or the appeal to emotion because this was a poster design to scare people. By doing so great Britain brought awareness of the bomb threat and cause people to join the fight against it by joining the fireguard.

The Soviet unions propaganda poster marking the end of World War II portrays how they were happy the war was over and had nothing but respect for the other countries that help them bring Hitler and his reign of terror to an end. It gave credit to numerous countries like China Great Britain France and the United States. In the image we can see a Russian soldier holding up flags with a smile on his face, this old prove to the audience of the war is over and that it is the time for celebration. One of the strategies used in this poster is the rhetorical device of perspective, obvious that from this Russian soldiers perspective things are going well he has a smile on his face and his country has just won the war. In doing so the Soviet union helps reassure the people that the war is over and gives credit and thanks to the countries that helped them bring it to an end.
