Puritans

Christians who wanted the Church of England purified of any liturgy or practices that not found in scripture.

The puritans were stockholders in the Massachusetts bay company which had received its charter from King Charles

Group organized in towns and settlement

They where afraid of nature and the unknown

Didn't accept non members of the church
