In the exposition you meet Jack and where he lived for most of his life. Then Jazen comes and takes him to the Imagine Nation, where Jack was discovered to have been infected by the Rüstov. Jack was then questioned in court. After he was said that he could live he was asked to join the school of knowledge. But to get into the school of knowledge you must take a few tests to get in. So one of the tests was to go camping on old Rüstov ground. But while the kids were there the Rüstov left behinds attacked Jack and the others. Jack defeated them but one escaped. Later when Jack had found out that Smart (one of the circle men) had corrupted his file as a citizen he got really mad and tried to break in and find out who he really was.
