WHAT is color?

Color

"The property by an object of producing different sensations of the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light." That is the definition provided for humanity by the great and all knowing google. In reality the color is the frequency of the light around us. The lowest frequency of visible color is red, and the highest frequancy of visible light is purple.

We view light on a scale called the visible light spectrum. This spectrum is continuous and is laid out like a rainbow. All colors fit on this scale except white, the presence of all colors, and black, the absence of color. The frequencies and wavelengths of each color is located in the table along the left side of the page.
