Positive psychology should be made a part of school curriculum because it introduces a more insightful outlook on mental health, all while serving as a tool for suicide prevention, it increases mental well being, prevents adolescent/teen depression, and introduces positive possibilities to young people. Depression is an illness that is surpassed until it becomes a problem. Positive psychology introduces the emotions and skills needed to combat mental illness and the dangers that come with it.
