My Story

Music has always been part of my life, culture, and faith. My childhood was filled with a myriad of music/acting experiences. Whether singing with my family or playing drums in a rock band, public performance became central to my life. This has served me well in my adult life as Pastor, Teacher, and Musician - often in a cross cultural setting.

In 2010 I was given the chance to teach music at Big Island Lake Cree Nation. Over the course of 4 years the kids went from a very limited experience with music to children boldly singing and playing in public events. This brought a sense of pride to the kids, and to the community, as empowered teens proclaimed their confidence. The following is just a taste of that experience.
