Procedure

The expected results are what the official percentage is per large bag of m&m's. This was also our control group, because it had the correct percentages.

Controls: Weight of m&m's, random scoops.

Any difference between the observed and expected data is due to CHANCE!

This lab helped us understand how to use the Chi square analysis and equation. It was helpful because I knows our class can use this in a diverse variety of experiments and it will be extremely useful.
