How Do We Relate?

Marx is has a very similar idea to me. I too believe that social class and class conflict as well as inequality, have a lot to do with social change. He focuses on how the economy majorly influences change and how modernization influences change also. Yes, social ideas and values play some role in motivating social change, but I do agree that the “rich versus poor” theory is one of the most accurate. I don’t agree completely with him, because he believes social ideas and values really have no effect on change, but I do relate most to him when It comes down to choosing. It seems to me that even when people test him or argue with him about his theory being wrong, he stands his ground. That quality or trait is also like me. Any time someone would question him, he would come up with just the right answer to prove his theory to be right. He was a very determined man and really believed in what he taught. His beliefs made it to the twentieth century and had a huge influence on the way people thought. Karl Marx still has a large influence on the way some people think and believe today. His way of thinking influences thoughts about how the production of goods and services sold to a wide range of consumers is creating change. Although not all of his theories are still in tact, some did however, make it to this century. I feel that I relate mostly to his style of thinking.
