In Th Billiard Ball by Isaac Asimov, two men that are Familiar acquaintances decide to create an anti gravity machine. The two men are James Priss and Edward Bloom and in the end of the story Edward Bloom ends up being killed by the very machine he created. He was killed while playing pool with James Priss and no one knows whether Priss murdered him or if it was an accident.

"For when Priss sent that ball toward the zero gravity volume-and the tri-di films bear me out- it was already aimed directly at Bloom's heart! Accident? Coincidence?....Murder?"(344).
