Peacocks by far one of the most reconizable bird species. With their large, virbrant tail feathers and bright iridescent coloring, Peacocks are easily identified. The term "Peacock" normally refers to just the males of the species, while females known as the "Peahens"! The species is referred to as "Peafowl" when addressing premixed batch of birds. They originated in the tropical regions of the Southern Hemispheres, but can now be found around the globe.
