I picked "Hold On Till May" by Pierce The Veil for the Unit Concept of "Is all fair in love and war?" This particular song helps me connect to the unit concept because this certain song was written by frontman Vic Fuentes about a friend he had growing up that would hide in her tree house to get away from her parents, and a other girl named Olivia Penpraze who committed suicide, and said on her Tumblr blog that she attempted suicide every May 1st, hence the songs name,. It helps me connect because it shows that anything can happen to the sweetest of people. The lyrics state this with lyrics such as " But tonight I'll make you feel beautiful once again."
