Night Vision During World War II
Night vision was first created by the Germans in 1939. They started developing it in 1936. Because the Germans finished first they had greater ability over the allied forces. By the end of WWII, the German army had built 50 Panther tanks which were using night vision technology.the German army also outfitted an elite group of soldiers called the night hunters with rifles that had ground night vision sight on them.
