A Real Survivor's Story

I began to get worried, I was shaking. I could hear things upstairs being thrashed around and then I knew I should've got better insurance. The whole time I was down in my dark basement I listened to the radio, hearing and understanding every word. I felt like in was in the basement for days waiting to get killed. When the radio station said it was 100% safe to leave your shelter I was so happy. Even though I was rescued out of my basement it felt amazing to walk even though I was only down there for about 2 hours. Life was a mess though I had to have my sister who lived 3 hours away pick me up. I had nightmares about tornados for a while. I moved to Pennsylvania 6 weeks after. I still can't stand the thought of a tornado.
