Babylonian Theodicy
The Babylonian Theodicy dictates a debate between two Babylonians, a believer and a skeptic. In the end, the believer had to deal with the fact that the will of the gods was impossible to understand. This is an extant literary example that religious skepticism existed within the Babylonians.
