Parts of the system

Left atrium and left ventricle: relieves blood from the lungs, and pumps it to the body.

Veins: carries blood to the heart.

Arteries: carries blood and oxygen away from the heart.

Right atrium and right ventricle: receives blood from the body, and pumps it to the lungs.

Heart (in general): a network of blood vessels that brings in nutrients and removes waste.
