'Faceless' is a book about sixteen year old Maisie Winters, a normal teenage girl that loves to run. But running is the reason why Maisie's life changed forever. While jogging one morning, a terrible storm causes an electrical fire that partially destroys her face. Although Maisie is lucky enough to have a face transplant - nothing is the same again. The book tells the story of how she deals with life after the transplant; rebuilding her confidence; walking around with somebody else's skin on her face and how to love the person she is now but never forget the person she once was.
