Step 2: Practice

Knowing what you want to say in your speech is only the first step. Effective public speakers practice exactly what they will say several times in order to be successful. Consider practicing in front of a variety of audiences instead of only on your own. These practice audience members can give you valuable feedback on what went well and what you can improve.
