While battling against other alternative energy sources, Biomass would be the most cost-effective and practical and therefore the best form of renewable energy out there. For example, solar and wind energy sources have much higher capital costs and low utilization rates. This is because solar only produces energy when it is sunny and wind only produces electricity when it is windy. Biomass, on the other hand, are used as a base power because Biomass power plants run 24 hours a day.
