First day of the URA-BON festival
On the first day of the festival in japan they light a lantern and go to their ancestors graves to ask them to come back with them.
On the last day they will go back to the grave and hang Chockin in the grave with the family.
Traditionally the beat of the dance is kept up with Japanese taiko drums. People go to parks, temples, shrines and even gardens to celebrate this magnificent festival.
