3. Katniss finds Peeta in about the middle of the games, and he is injured.

Main Events of the Book

1. Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her sister, Primrose, after she is reaped to be in the hunger games.

2. In about the middle of the games, a new rule is thrown in, showing that more than one person can win, as long as they are from the same district. This inclines Katniss to find Peeta so that they can both win.

4. Peeta and Katniss both win, even after the rules are changed once again so that only one person can win, by tricking the capitol.
