I never take the time to actually think about what I'm thankful for, but this project showed me that I have a lot to be thankful for. Knowing that I had to turn it in for a grade might have been the reason for some motivation, but I think this is a habit that I will likely continue. I never realized how fast time went by until I had to set time aside to do something as simple as writing on a note card. I actually told my mom about doing this and she decided that she wanted to try it as well. So through spiritual disciplines, we can not only better ourselves and become more like jesus, we can also help others around us .
