A) Cotton textile export trade held extreme importance in the Indian subcontinent. Barely was also a very prominent crop and was said to be supplemented with wheat.

B) The Indian Ocean aided trade between India and the Middle East and Europe, while the Pacific Ocean aided trade between India and East and Southeast Asia. The Red Sea was also used for trade. The Silk Road, Bombay Island, and Incense Route were important trade routes.
