Countries that are involved in wars are trying to grow their defenses, so they recruit child soldiers into the armies. These soldiers are mainly boys, but there are still girls that are enlisted. In most circumstances, public passenger vehicles are stopped at various checkpoints, and the passengers are asked to show their IDs by the guards or soldiers. Since young boys are not old enough to carry an ID, they are arrested and put in the local jail. They are given the choice of either staying in jail or joining the army. By recruiting children this way, the armies of these countries grow exponentially.
