Natalie writes a great book and Zoe wants to help her publish the book.  Natalie's mom, Hannah is an editor but she could be fired for showing favoritism to a book.  The two girls have to find a way to publish the book without Hannah knowing it was them.  They find out just how much more work there is to publishing  a book than just writing and sending it.
