The maple leaf contains palisade cells and mesophyll (the mesophyll layer contains the palisades). Also, the epidermis is visible at the outer section of the leaf. The leaf vein isn't present in the picture, but all leaves must have leaf veins because a leaf needs veins to transport food, water and chlorophyll needed for the plant to survive.
