Plot development

▪️ Ofglen has killed herself because she saw the Eye coming, thinking she has been discovered she hangs herself.

▪️ There is a replacement Ofglen who we find out is not part of the underground society but knows of it's existence, she may be too scared to join or is a true believer, however since she tells Offred about the last Ofglen's death this is unsure.

▪️ Commander's Wife discovers of Offred's outings and threatens her but we later find out that she does not call the Eyes and instead seems to want to punish Offred by herself.

▪️ Eyes show up and Offred considers killing herself. Nick comes to her bedroom and tells her that they are part of the Mayday movement here to collect her. She doesn't know whether or not to trust him and suspects that he is part of the Eye - we later find out that he is part of both - but decides to go with them as she sees it as the last offer she is 'left with' to get out of Gilead.

▪️ The Commander shows that he does still fear of the Eyes, despite his high status and the fact that Commanders are directly in charge of them. When he was subtly threatened by the Eyes he complied to their wishes. Both the Commander and the Commander's Wife seemed to think that Offred had snitched about his various unauthorised actions.
