Who invented Penicillin
Alexander Fleming
Alexander Fleming discovered Penicillin in 1928. In 1928 Fleming noticed the effect of Penicillium in a Petri dish, where it killed many disease causing bacteria. He was unable to pursue further development without the help from trained chemists. In 1939 Dr. Howard Florey did intensive research on Penicillin and in 1943 after clinical trials were performed, Penicillin was the most effective antibiotic.
