No Duty to Warn in Texas

Title 7: Texas Health & Safety Code, Authorized Disclosure of Confidential Information Other Than In Judicial Or Administrative Proceeding § 611.004


Texas Social Workers who feel compelled to warn medical, or law enforcement about their client are permitted to do so, as long as they believe that "there is a probability of imminent physical injury by the patient, to the patient or others"
