What Is Bullying: Bullying is unwanted, aggresive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or percieved power imbalance

1. Kids can bully others, they can be bullied or they may witness bullying.

2. Bullying is linked to many negative outcomes including impacts on mental health, substance use, and suicide.

3. Bullying can threaten students' physical and emotional safety at school and negatively impact their ability to learn.

4. When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior, they send the message that it is not acceptable.

5. No single factor puts a child at risk of being bullied or bullying others.
