NO-MAN's-LAND

- Land in between opposing trenches


- Tens to hundreds of miles wide


- Always filled with cries of wounded and dying soldiers


- Difficult to maneuver because of shell holes, mud pools, and wire entanglements


- Going into no-man's-land was known as a suicide mission


- Tanks were technologically advanced in reorder to make it through


- Difficult getting reinforcing troops, ammunition, grenades, water/food, and other supplies as it had to come through here
