Biography
A Danish scientist who was born on October 7, 1885 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
His father, Christian Bohr, was a professor of physiology at the University of Copenhagen.
He received his education at Gammelholm Grammer School, Copenhagen University (1903), and he recieved his master's degree in Physics (1909), and his doctorate (1911) from Christian Christiansen.
He was married in 1912 to Margrethe and together they had six sons.
He conducted experiments under J.J. Thompson at Trinity College.
He conducted experiments under Ernest Rutherford at the University of Manchester.
