Physical Features and Climate

Iraq's main physical features are deserts, river plains and high mountains. The main rivers are The Tigris and The Euphrates rivers. There are many other lakes, but they only form in the rainy season.

Some mountain ranges include the Zagros, Dena, and the Cheekha Dar. The climate in Iraq is humid tropical and is considered one of the worlds hottest and driest areas.
