The Decade of the 90, began with an economy unleashed by the war, with one of the worst social crisis in the history of the country, with a large foreign debt, which, so far, the country has financed part of the payment for services of the debt and its own trade deficit with funding from the international community.

High cost of living, with a prominent increase in tariffs of public services over the past months, the cost of electricity has increased between 25 and 74%, followed by water and phone, with increases of between 1 and 49%.
