The climate of Pennsauken is ideal for crop growing. Our warm springs, hot summers, and cold winters made the town perfect for growing many crops.

Pennsauken once was home to many orchards and vineyards. Many of the towns people grew strawberries, grapes, pears, and apples. The Delaware River and ponds provided lots of water  for farming the land.
