O - O Convergent Plate Boundaries

Oceanic to oceanic convergent plate boundaries are two oceanic plates crashing into each other. A trench is formed in the ocean floor. Oceanic and oceanic plate convergent collisions form a chain of volcanos. The crust that is pulled under melts to form magma. This magma rises to the top of the other oceanic plate and erupts on the ocean floor.
