Summary

1. We developed an ePortfolio engine for a limited purpose, and later looked for ways to utilize it for assessment.

2. We developed a 1-unit course to teach the necessary skills

3. We chose Wordpress for our ePortfolio platform

- Good: Enhances student creativity

- Bad: Lacks automation for ePortfolio assessment activities

(but we have found work-arounds)

4. We standardized how students write reflections and give them this structure via Word document templates

5. We created a scheme to integrate the use of ePortfolio for department-level assessment
