~In March, 1881, Wyatt was looking for a group of cowboys who had robbed a tombstone stagecoach mad it's driver.

~He made a deal with Ike Clanton, a local who dealt with the cowboys regularly. In return for his help he would receive $6,000.

~The partnership disintegrated when Ike got paranoid and thought that Wyatt would tell about their deal.

~By October, Clanton was crazy, drunk, and bragging about how he was going to kill e of the Earps.

~On October 26,1881 Earp, his brother, and Doc Holliday were walking around town when they ran into Ike, his brother Billy, Frank McLaury, and his brother near O.K. Corral.

~In about 30 seconds Billy Clanton and both the McLaury brothers were dead annd Virgil and Morgan Earp were both injured as well as Doc Holliday.

~The only person uninsured was Wyatt Earp.

~Ike went on a mad rampage, shot Virgil, and killed Morgan.

~After that, Wyatt went looking for vengeance with e small posse that included Doc Holliday.

~They eventually caught Ike and Killed him.

~Wyatt continued his policing for awhile until he got tired of dodging bullets and retired.
